We’ve partnered with Mallory Brown to design a special piece of jewelry which will help fund 30 women in Ethiopia to start and maintain their own businesses.
These women of the small, impoverished village of Chapa have been begging for employment opportunities, so they can buy food for their families, send their children to school, and start to pull themselves out of poverty.
On June 21st, Mallory is celebrating her 30th birthday in Chapa where she will begin a journey to raise money for these women. This necklace symbolizes our commitment to helping them achieve their goal.
The Pempamsie symbol, of African origin, was a perfect fit for this project. It means to “sew in readiness” and resembles the links of a chain. These women are ready to rewrite their stories. Are you ready to help them?
Your purchase makes a difference! With each gold Pempamsie necklace sold on our website, we will donate $15.00 to the women of Chapa.
